Lot 1038 Antique Sword Cane
The blade has L. Chobert, r. Lafayette 16, R.Taitbout 27, Paris engraved/stamped on it by handle and 1144 PJ on clasp at the end of the handle. Overall length is 36", blade length is 26 1/2". It has an antler handle, bamboo on handle and sheath has some cracks. Tip is a 1/2" copper pipe cap. The sword is very difficult to extract from the sheath if it is pushed all the way.
